For our November 2022 wedding, aside from the venue, Lucy Black Ent was the first vendor we booked! After watching their promo video, they truly stood out from any other band on the DC market. From their soulful and authentic sound to working the vendor contract with Lauren (who is literally the sweetest human), choosing them really was a no brainer. On the management side, we were able to completely customize our services for the day of the wedding and Lauren made a point to work with our budget (which was another huge reason why we went with them -- quality customer service is very important to us). We opted to have Lucy Black provide ceremony music and then selected the Lucy Black Luxe Band for the dinner and reception. Our one request was we wanted the band to be interactive with the crowd, and they truly exceeded our expectations. The band was on the floor with our guests, dancing, and kept the energy up all night. Everyone was out on the dance floor, and the most compliments we recieved from our wedding was from just how amazing the band was. You could tell every member of that band was truly all in the moment with our guests. Major thanks to Lauren who was so easy going, flexible, kind, and made sure all of our questions and comments were addressed. We took our music selection very seriously --- in our opinion, it makes or breaks a wedding. Lucy Black Luxe literally TORE the house down and it was without a doubt one of the best decisions we made! If I could plan another event just to book them again, I would! Truly masters at their craft and a joy to have at our wedding. Thank you thank you thank you! One things for sure, you have gained some new fans :)!
